My initial membership was to make sure I was aware of what was going on in the industry.  But after years of membership, Masterminds groups, forum discussions, and lots of events, the FPA actually led to connection and camaraderie with other advisors.  The camaraderie of financial planning advisors really is tough to put a price on when we’re naturally independent or alone. —Kenneth Ashka
