“led to connection and camaraderie “
My initial membership was to make sure I was aware of what was going on in the industry. But after years of membership, Masterminds groups, forum discussions, and lots of events, the FPA actually led to connection and camaraderie with other advisors. The camaraderie of financial planning advisors really is tough to put a price on when we’re naturally independent or alone. —Kenneth Ashka
“broadened my knowledge”
Initially joined the FPA for its educational resources, but over time—especially after joining the Board—I’ve found that the relationships I’ve built with other advisors have been equally valuable. Our webinars and symposiums have broadened my knowledge on a wide range of topics and helped me stay current on new legislation. I also continually learn from my colleagues, gaining insight into best practices and new approaches to serving clients. —Dawn Brown
“amplified my ability to give back”
It's grown my network, widened my perspective, and amplified my ability to give back to other planners, the FPA and my community. —Dennis Huergo
