NJ Secure Choice Savings Program Passed – We helped make a difference!

Breaking News: India Hayes Larrier, AARP New Jersey | Associate State Director – Advocacy, announced just this week, that the NJ State General Assembly officially accepted and passed the “NJ Secure Choice Savings Program Act” with a vote of 55-18-1. The legislation has been officially forwarded to the Governor for his signature. This was a great day and the result of tireless support by the FPA of NJ chapter’s and other sponsors advocacy efforts supporting bill S2891/A4134. The New Jersey Secure Choice Savings Program Act"; establishes retirement savings program for certain workers; establishes standard contribution level of 3 percent. Ms. Larrier will inform us when an expected bill signing is scheduled. She thanked us for our efforts and support as we make a more secure retirement for NJ residents a reality.
