Program Description:

When a client dies, their family members will be seeking guidance on how to deal with the various assets that they’ve left behind.  A trip to the County Surrogate’s office is usually required, but not for all assets nor in all estates.  Knowing the ins and outs of the probate process will help you to provide accurate information that will save the grieving family time and unnecessary effort.

This presentation will help you to:

  • Know the difference between probate and non-probate assets
  • Learn which assets involve the Surrogate’s Office and which don’t
  • Be aware of the most common mistakes people make when handling their assets

Registration Fees:  Free
