FPA of NJ Members Partner with NJBIA (NJ Business Industry Association)

20% Discount on First Year NJBIA Membership to access Group Health Care Plan

Like many small business owners in NJ, I have been searching for alternatives to individual policies for health care coverage. I recently learned that NJBIA has joined Association Master Trust, a Multiple Employer Welfare Arrangement (MEWA) to offer health coverage for their members. AMT provides self-funded policies to business members of their associations. AMT holds both single and aggregate backstops to ensure members of the trust do not have liability for catastrophic claims. AMT is owned by its business policy holders and has a history of returning dividends back to members. The plans are administered by Horizon Blue Cross and use their networks. I signed up for an HSA compatible policy which provides 100% coverage with no copays in-network after deductible and also pays 70% of Reasonable and Customary charges out of network. It has a national network. This was possible even though I have no other employees.
